  • එක offence එකකට 20 – 50 points දක්වා දෙනවා.
    • Example: Speeding (11–20 km/h over limit) = 20 points
    • Mobile phone use while driving = 20 points
    • Police order ignore කරන එක = 50 points
  • 100 points within 2 years ගත්තොත් → licence එක 3 months suspended වෙනවා.
  • මේ points 2 years කාලයක් තියෙනවා. ඒකෙන් පස්සේ expire වෙනවා.

🌍 Visa holders ලට කෙරෙන බලපෑම

NZ හි Immigration system එකට driving history access තියෙනවා.

  • ඔබට serious traffic offences (උදා: drink driving, reckless driving) හෝ frequent demerit points තියෙනවා නම්, future visa applications (Resident / Work / Extension) consider කරන විට එය negative impact දිය හැක.
  • Licence suspension උනොත්, driving required කරන job එකකට ඔබගේ credibility down වෙනවා.
