නවසීලන්තයේ රැකියාවක් (job) සොයන ශ්රී ලාංකිකයෙක් විදිහට, ඔබට වැදගත්ම Visa එකක් තමයි Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) එක. මේක හරියටම පියවරෙන් පියවර (step-by-step) කරන විදිය ගැනයි මේ Blog එක. මේක ටිකක් සංකීර්ණ (complex) ක්රියාවලියක්. ඒත් නිවැරදිව (correctly) කළොත් ඔබට පහසුවෙන් New Zealand යන්න පුළුවන්.
1. මුලින්ම Accredited Employer කෙනෙක්ගෙන් Job Offer එකක් හොයාගන්න! (First, find a Job Offer from an Accredited Employer!)
AEWV එකට Apply කරන්න කලින්, ඔබට නවසීලන්තයේ Accredited Employer කෙනෙක්ගෙන් Job Offer එකක් තියෙන්නම ඕනේ. මේක AEWV ක්රියාවලියේ පළමු සහ වැදගත්ම Step එක.
- Accredited Employer කවුද?
- Immigration New Zealand එකෙන් අනුමත (approved) කරපු, විදේශීය (overseas) සේවකයින් (migrant workers) බඳවා ගන්න පුළුවන් Employer කෙනෙක්.
- Job එකක් සොයන්නේ කෙසේද?
- Accredited Employer List එක Immigration New Zealand වෙබ් අඩවියෙන් බලන්න.
- Seek සහ Trade Me Jobs වැනි Job websites වල “Visa Sponsorship” හෝ “Accredited Employer” කියලා Search කරන්න.
- ඔබේ Skills සහ Experience වලට ගැළපෙන Job එකක් Find කරලා Apply කරන්න.
- Job Offer එක Full-time (සතියට පැය 30ට වඩා වැඩියි) වෙන්න ඕනේ. ඒ වගේම Salary එක නවසීලන්තයේ නියමිත Minimum Wage එකට වඩා අඩු වෙන්න බැහැ.
2. AEWV සඳහා වන පූර්ව සුදුසුකම් (Pre-Qualifications for AEWV)
AEWV එකට Apply කරන්න කලින් ඔබ සපුරාලිය යුතු ප්රධාන Pre-Qualifications දෙකක් තිබෙනවා. AEWV එකට විශේෂ Age Limit එකක් නොමැති වුවත්, ඔබ Residence සඳහා Pathway එකක් සොයන්නේ නම්, Age එක වැදගත් වෙනවා.

(Note: Bachelor’s Degree හෝ ඊට වැඩි Qualification එකක් ඕනෑම Field එකක තිබුණත් එය Relevant ලෙස සැලකෙනවා.) |
| වයස් සීමාව (Age Limit) | AEWV Visa එකට නිල වශයෙන් (Officially) Maximum Age Limit එකක් නැහැ. (BUT) ඔබ AEWV එකෙන් පසුව Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa වැනි ස්ථිර පදිංචි Visa (Residence Visa) එකකට යොමු වෙන්න Plan කරනවා නම්, ඒ Visa වලට සාමාන්යයෙන් Maximum Age Limit එක 55 ලෙස තිබෙනවා. |
3. Employer Job Check එක සම්පූර්ණ කළ යුතුයි (The Employer Must Complete a Job Check)
ඔබට Job Offer එක ලැබුණට පස්සේ, ඔබගේ Employer විසින් Immigration New Zealand වෙත Job Check Application එකක් යොමු කරන්න ඕනේ.
- මේක කරන්නේ Employer විසින්. මේකෙන් Immigration New Zealand බලන්නේ මේ Job එකට සුදුසු New Zealander කෙනෙක් නැද්ද කියලා.
- ඔබේ Job එකේ තොරතුරු (details) – Salary, Location, Job Description – මේ Check එකෙන් Approve වෙන්න ඕනේ.
- Job Check එක Approve වුණාට පස්සේ, Immigration New Zealand විසින් ඔබට AEWV එකට Apply කරන්න පුළුවන් Token එකක් හෝ Unique Link එකක් එවනු ඇත.
4. ඔබේ AEWV අයදුම්පත (Your AEWV Application)
ඔබට Token එක ලැබුණාට පස්සේ, ඔබට Online ක්රමයට ඔබේ Work Visa Application එක ඉදිරිපත් කරන්න පුළුවන්. ඔබ සපුරාලිය යුතු ප්රධාන අවශ්යතා (requirements) කිහිපයක් මෙන්න:

| Character Requirement | ඔබ අවුරුදු 17න් පසු වසර 5කට වඩා වැඩියෙන් ජීවත් වූ සෑම රටකින්ම Police Certificate (ශ්රී ලංකාවේ Police Clearance Certificate). |
| Health Requirement | Immigration New Zealand විසින් අනුමත කරන ලද වෛද්ය මධ්යස්ථානයකින් ලබාගත් Medical Certificate සහ/හෝ Chest X-ray Certificate එක. |
| English Language Ability | ඔබේ Job එක ANZSCO skill level 4 හෝ 5 නම්, ඔබ ඔබේ English දැනුම ඔප්පු කරන්න IELTS වැනි Test එකක් සමත් විය යුතුයි (බොහෝ විට IELTS වල Overall score 4.0 ඕනේ). |
- Documents Translate කිරීම:
- ඔබ ඉදිරිපත් කරන සිංහල Documents සියල්ලම Immigration New Zealand විසින් අනුමත කරන ලද පරිවර්තකයෙකු (approved translator) මගින් English වලට Translate කරලා, Certified Copy එකක් ලබාදිය යුතුයි.
5. අයදුම්පත ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම සහ තීරණය (Submitting the Application and Decision)
ඔබ සියලුම Documents සූදානම් කර ගත්තාට පස්සේ:
- Immigration New Zealand හි Online Portal එක හරහා ඔබේ AEWV Application එක ඉදිරිපත් කරන්න.
- අවශ්ය Application Fee එක Pay කරන්න.
- ඉන්පසු ඔබට තීරණය (decision) ලැබෙන තුරු Wait කරන්න. Processing Time එක වෙනස් විය හැකියි.
- ඔබේ Visa එක Approve වුණොත්, ඔබට New Zealand බලා පිටත්වීමට (travel) Plan කරන්න පුළුවන්.
